The purchasing and logistic department is a team of 60 people working in 10 countries : France, Italy in charge also of Switzerland, Portugal and Greece , Morocco in charge also of Tunisia and Senegal, Turkey in charge also of Mauritius, Brazil, United States in charge also of Antilles and Bahamas, Mexico, Singapore in charge also of South East Asia and Maldives, China, Japan.
Commitment for environment and human rights
We ask to our suppliers and service providers to respect our sustainable purchasing charter.
In order to comply with our obligations in terms of Due Diligence, we ask our suppliers to be transparent about their supply chain. In collaboration with the ICS association (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability) we mandate audit firms to carry out social and environmental audits, we share them among members to share the monitoring of progress plans.
Commitment for a sustainable tourism
Club Med is a company of the FOSUN group. Club Med is part of the FOLIDAY branch (Tourism and Culture) listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the 1992 code. FOLIDAY achieved a revenue of RMB 16.3 million, a gross profit of RMB 5.3 million for an EBITDA of RMB 2 million in 2018.
Following the successful 2018 openings of the Tomamu villages in Japan, Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon and Arcs Panaroma in the French Alps, Cefalu in Italy and the 2 sites of the new Joyview brand in China: Golden Coast and Anji Resort, the Club Med Group, which has a very strong international development strategy, plans to open 3 to 5 new Resorts per year.
